The nuclear industry provides stable, well-paying jobs essential
to our nation's energy future. Each reactor unit at a
nuclear power plant needs up to 450 skilled workers with technical
backgrounds - two-thirds of these will require an associate's
degree from a community/junior college with specialization in
nuclear power plant systems, radiation protection, or digital
instrumentation and control.
Below is a list of colleges with two-year programs in these
fields. Click each college name for more information.
